Environmental Officer: Specialized Production (Compliance and Enforcement) at Eastern Cape Department: Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism

REQUIREMENTS:

• National Senior Certificate plus a relevant Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in Natural Sciences or a related qualification.
• No experience required as per OSD requirements; however, 1–2 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
• Sound knowledge of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) and all subsidiary Acts.
• Understanding of the Natural Scientific Professions Act and the Public Service Act.
• Familiarity with the Public Service Regulations.
• Computer literacy and strong administrative skills.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s licence is required.
