What will you do?
Outputs / Core Tasks:
Attending to walk-in clients for estates or taking in estates telephonically if required.
Providing administrative support to Estate Administrators if required.
Onboarding of new estates for Estates Academy.
Reporting of new estates to relevant parties, including the Master of the High Court and SARS.
Following up on Letters of Executorship.
Sending out standard communication to intermediaries and heirs in the estates.
Collection of all information needed to draft a Liquidation and Distribution Account.
Transfer of assets and collection of assets.
Filing of estates with the Master of the High Court and closure.
Attending to incoming and outgoing mail.
General typing and filing duties.
What will make you successful in this role?
Requirements
1. Qualifications:
Grade 12
2. Experience:
At least 3 year’ estate administration experience in a similar role.
3. Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of financial concepts and principles.
Knowledge of the estate administration process.
Knowledge of appropriate legislation linked to estate administration.
Knowledge of Legalease and Probanker systems will be an advantage.
