Our client is in need of an experienced Estimator – Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) to join a dynamic team in Midrand. This is a permanent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate, high-quality tenders and cost estimates.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in E&I projects with proven tender development ability.
Diploma or degree in Engineering or Management.
Strong construction and engineering contractual knowledge.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CCS (Candy).

Strong multitasking ability with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate E&I estimates and study tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
Verify material take-offs, bills of quantities, and specifications.
Conduct commercial adjudication of materials, equipment, and subcontract quotations.
Develop complete cost estimates in line with company procedures.
Participate in introducing new estimating techniques and conduct site visits when required.
Ensure compliance with company procurement and quality assurance standards.
