Expeditor, you will be responsible for on time delivery that supports the full scope of purchase order and procurement processes by providing the best conditions in terms of quality, price, delivery terms, and sustainability in accordance with guidelines and all in compliance with group regulations and procedures.

You will be part of the Mining Service Procurement Team for sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and South Asia.
Your responsibilities
To ensure on time delivery as per PO/Contracts.
To ensure all Supplier’s forecast are realistic as per progress report, this includes physical visits to suppliers to verify the progress against commitments.
Co-ordination with Vendor/Engineering/QC/Originator.
Follow up on vendors for manufacturing schedule/QCP.
Update in SMS & circulate the PO wise status report in regular frequency.
Ensures timely escalation if there is a delay at any stage of operation in Post Order activities.
Inspection report / document from vendor and working with QC for inspection clearance.
Coordinating for packing list for shipping clearance.
Improves on time delivery by creating a good networking and influencing with suppliers and other stakeholders.
To ensure Suppliers payments as per PO.
What you bring
Expediting or Project Management Diploma/Certificate would be Beneficial.
Minimum 5 - 10 Years’ experience as an Expeditor.
Demonstrated knowledge of handling suppliers and how to improve them in terms of faster delivery, Quality standards. (Improving SIFOT)
Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
Experience in dealing with Cross function teams across various regions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organization, multitasking and time management skills that delivers effective planning.
Works towards building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
Computer experience using standard MS Office suite of programs is required.
Fair idea of basic commercial and financial understanding - desirable.
MS Projects capable
Experience in an engineering manufacturing, workshop & fabrication environment.
Experienced in a product supply / production driven environment.
Experienced and knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical specifications.
