Expert Artisan Maintenance Trainer at Toyota

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Maintain Merseta / NAMB / QCTO / ISO 14001 / BBBEE / SABS compliance.
• Facilitation, assessment and moderation of apprentices and learners and artisans
• Conduct Fitter and Turner Trade- Phases 1-4
• Conduct Pre-Trade Test, Assessment, and Trade test for the Fitter and Turner Trade.
• Conduct Pneumatic and Hydraulic training.                                         
• Innovative ideas in training to ensure cost reduction.
• Ensure all training records comply with the National Auditing Systems of MerSETA/NAMB/QCTO.
• Always maintain a safe environment.
• Planning and scheduling of training
• Development of curriculum modules of the Fitter & Turner Trade to ensure content is up to date continously.   
• Rotational support into different departments.
• Presentations and information gathering / course content development for artisans

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential

• N4 AND Trade Tested Fitter and Turner Artisan
• Experience in training apprentices & Artisan’s within the Mechanical / Fitter and Turner Trades. Through levels 1-4, and up to and Including Trade Test.
• 5 years post apprenticeship, on the job experience, as an artisan.
• Assessor Certificate, Facilitator Certificate [Advantageous]
• Excellent PC skills. [Excel, Word & PowerPoint]

Advantageous

• Experience in either, the Manufacturing Industry / Steel Industry / Aluminium Processing Industry / Paper and Pulp Industry / Packaging Industry, and a clear understanding of / teaching Pneumatics / Hydraulics
• Moderator Certificate
