Primary Responsibilities

Rely on product knowledge and use black-box as well as white-box test derivation techniques to analyse and define test cases.

• Explore product features and feature interactions to discover inadequacies and to expose high risk areas likely to escape automated test processes.
• Liaise with the product team about possible issues with the product and to improve the user experience of the product.
• Manage a test record to report on software quality, to re-test improvements and bug fixes, and as input to regression and automated test development.
• Contribute to the quality of the product by collaborating with the documentation team to develop user documentation and learning support material.
• Participate in the team's agile culture and scrum ceremonies.

Required skills

• Appropriate tertiary qualification
• Troubleshoot bugs by analyzing logs
• Bug reporting with screenshots and videos
   

Beneficial skills and experience

• Test certification or postgraduate qualification in software testing preferred
• 3 years work experience in a software development or engineering environment
• Experience in telecommunication protocols beneficial
• Experience in software management processes beneficial
