Export Coordinator at Bosch Holdings (Pty) Ltd

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to;

• Ensure compliant and smooth export clearance operation:
• Fulfilment of export requirements and ensuring consignments are customs compliant prior to execution and are in line with that of the country of import
• Prepare export documents (Declarations)
• Execute formalities to achieve customs clearance
• Handle questions and deviations from customs authority or customs brokers
• Collect proof of export
• Fulfil additional requirements resulting from special customs procedure utilization
• Administration & coordination:
• Communication with (internal) customers updating on shipment status
• Liaising with LSP’s (incl. customs broker) to ensure smooth transition of the supply chain
• Perform controlling and reporting
• Customs Engagement
• Acquitting the shipping files as required by SARS (Customs)
• Preparing monthly audit acquittal documents for SARS on shipments requested

Requirements;

• A minimum of 3-5 years’ working experience in the Export environment or International Trade (emphasis on road logistics)
• Solid understanding of South African customs and foreign trade rules and regulations
• Experience with dealing with authorities would be an advantage
• 3 years+ experience in liaising with clearing and forwarding agents
• Working experience in on SAP
• Automotive / FMCG experience would be advantageous

Desired Skills and Experience

• National Snr Certificate / Grade 12
• A completed Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transport or related field
