Expression of Interest : Research Based PhD Supervisors in Commerce
The primary purpose of this position is to guide and support PhD candidates in the development of their research proposals and upon acceptance, the development of their thesis.
The position demands expert field and research leadership as well as constructive critical partnering. Supervisors at The IIE’s Varsity College are expected to be academically accomplished and deeply immersed in their respective industries, allowing for contemporary insights and practices in supervision and research.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
A Doctoral Degree in the field of Commerce.
SUPERVISION EXPERIENCE:
Work experience ideally in one of the related fields in Commerce.
Preference will be given to applicants who are active researchers in the field and have a proven track record of scholarly publications in accredited journals.
Experience in the supervision of academic research on NQF levels 9 and 10.
