External Sales Representative – JHB (Modderfontein) at Pro Talent

• The Sales Representative is responsible for developing, maintaining and growing the Packaging customer base through proactive sales activity, professional customer relationship management and achievement of agreed sales targets.
• The role requires a strong focus on new business development, retention of existing customers, customer visits, quotations, sales administration, market intelligence, competitor monitoring and accurate reporting.

The Sales Representative will promote full range of industrial packaging solutions, including:

• New IBCs
• Rebottled / reconditioned IBCs
• PE drums
• Replacement bottles / bladders
• Reconditioning services
• Other industrial packaging solutions offered by the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Sales, Marketing, Business Management or related qualification would be advantageous.
• Technical or industrial sales training would be advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years’ external sales experience.
• Experience in B2B industrial or manufacturing sales.
• Experience dealing with procurement and senior customer personnel.
• Proven experience developing new business.
• Experience managing existing key accounts.
• Strong track record of meeting sales targets.
• A Laptop, cellphone and company vehicle will be provided for business purposes only
• Experience preparing quotations and commercial proposals.
• Experience within industrial packaging, plastics, chemicals, manufacturing, FMCG, food ingredients or related sectors would be advantageous.
