Job Description

• A well-established distributor is looking for an experienced External Sales Representative to join their team in East London.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Drive sales across steel, hardware, construction, pumps and irrigation products.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow the customer base.
• Conduct client visits and provide product solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on leads and close sales.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

• 5+ years' sales experience within the steel, hardware or construction industry is essential.
• Strong existing industry knowledge and understanding of products.
• Proven external sales and business development experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and commercially minded.
• Valid driver's licence.
