About the Role

• As an F&I Manager, you will play a vital role in the automotive finance sector, focusing on the front-end processes of vehicle sales. You will be responsible for overseeing financing options, warranty products, and insurance offerings for customers, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience that enhances customer satisfaction and drives profitability for the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the sale of finance and insurance products, ensuring customers understand their options and benefits.
• Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, ensuring competitive rates and terms are available for customers.
• Review and analyze customer credit information to determine suitable financing options.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding automotive financing and insurance.
• Train and mentor sales staff on finance and insurance processes and products.
• Prepare reports on finance and insurance sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding financing or warranty processes in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve dealership goals and enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in finance, business administration, or a related field is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in a finance and insurance management role within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of finance and insurance products, including warranty and insurance options.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and lenders.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial documentation and compliance matters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as F&I Certification or other relevant industry qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) is preferred.
• Familiarity with South African automotive regulations and financing practices.
• Previous experience in sales or customer service roles within the automotive industry is an asset.
