Facilities Cleaner (R626A) at The South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC)

The Facilities Management Division is seeking to appoint Facilities Cleaner in the Cape Town Offices.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning of offices/labs, common areas (ablution facilities and kitchen) and meeting rooms:

• Cleaning of office/labs, common areas and meeting room in the morning before staff enters their office space

Tea supplies, arrangements and cleaning material:

• Check stock of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in kitchens
• Refreshment arrangement during meetings
• Request replenishment of supplies

Up keep of cleaning equipment:

• Maintenance of cleaning equipment

Core Requirements:

• Grade 8 or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years office cleaning experience
• Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate (read and write)
• Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
