Facilities Manager (Tenant Installations) at Communicare NPC

The Job

• We are looking for a Facilities Manager who specialises in Tenant Installations. You would oversee and manage all installation processes for all our property portfolios. You would work closely with the leasing team, property managers and contractors to ensure the installations are done and completed and within budget and on schedule.

• We are seeking highly motivated individuals with at least 5 - 7 years’ experience in a facilities management role within a tenanted residential property environment, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification as a built environment professional either in Project Management or Construction Management, or related fields

The following experience is required:

• Experience managing medium or large projects from initiation to delivery.
• At least five years’ experience in property management sector
• Experience in construction project management
• Experience in cost estimating, budgeting, and feasibility assessments for development projects
• Strong project management skills with experience overseeing multiple installation projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and relevant safety regulations.
• Experience managing contractors and vendors, including procurement and contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with tenants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
