Fashion Designer - Retail at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop fashion collections that align with brand aesthetics and market trends
• Conduct extensive research on fashion trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive analysis
• Create detailed sketches, technical specifications, and mood boards for presentations
• Select materials, colors, and finishes that enhance the overall collection
• Work collaboratively with the marketing and sales teams to ensure designs meet customer expectations
• Oversee the production process, providing guidance to manufacturers and suppliers to uphold quality standards
• Participate in fitting sessions and provide feedback for adjustments as necessary
• Stay informed about fashion industry trends and innovations

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Fashion Designer in the retail industry
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and design expertise
• Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, and production processes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for fashion with a modern and fresh design perspective
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
