Field Application Specialist Clinical Diagnostics (QC Management & Diabetes) at Bio-Rad Laboratories

Overview

Ensuring the specialized support on Clinical Diagnostics Products and solutions to the sales force and to customers during the pre-sales mainly, and to CTS or customers as second line during after sales. The ability of multitasking and working successfully and efficiently within the team and with other Bio-Rad staff is as important as being able to resolve customers’ issues.

Responsibilities

• Field Technical Support Remain available for all needs in the field for your assigned territories. Onsite training...Installation support ... > 50% of your time spent on country visits
• Training support Actively support the completion of local hands-on training for both Bio-Rad employees and those of our customers.
• Pre/Post Sales Activities Actively support the region to ensure country specific objectives are met. (Demo, Seminar, and workshop). Make sure all the requested activities have been done and create new activities according to the needs > 50% of your time spent on country visits
• Products Promotion Assist Sales Manager with the introduction/promotion of new products and/or non-developed lines >Workshops, Seminars, Demo…
• Monthly Visit report Including Field visits report, Regional FAS updates New / updated opportunities... Ensure relevant data are transmitted to the Sales Manager to be entered into SFDC
• Assist customer service and distributors with tenders and quotation Provide all technical information to support the projects
• Compliance Actively and visibly support all Compliance efforts

Job Duties:

• Bring scientific support to the sales force in your assigned territories.
• Assist for complex installations and provide onsite training to end-users.
• Support all marketing initiatives helping tactics execution in the field.
• Give lectures, participate to workshops when required.
• Have a sales/consultative approach in front of customers and bring feedback from the field to the marketing products.
• Contribute to the growth of each CDG lines.

Qualifications

• University science degree (Biology, chemistry, pharmacy)
• High level of Quality Control practice and understanding Diabetes by HPLC technology and other methods.
• 5 or more years of experience in scientific affairs or FAS
• Experience working in clinical laboratory is a plus
• Readiness for extensive travel
• This knowledge should be coupled with business acumen.
• Fluent English
• PC literacy
