Responsibilities

• Implementation of modifications in Rolling Stock units according to the modification file, in line with Company procedures especially in relation to Industrial and Quality.
• Undertake reworks, retrofits, repairs and/or other kinds of works to perform outside manufacturing facility as specified by the Manager according to Organization Chart.
• Carry out such work in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as laid down by legislation and the Company Health & Safety policies.
• Ensure all correct tools are available prior the works, validity and certification of relevant tools.
• Ensure all correct materials, components and parts prior the works are available.
• Ensure the competent operator will perform the work he is qualified for.
• Populate relevant modification follow-up data base.
• Guarantee information flow within the field modification team.
• Perform quality self-control.
• Write a clear and detailed report on the work done (Job card)
• Drive company vehicles when required and applicable.
• Attend regular team briefings.
• Read reports and manuals as and when required.
• Train new members of the team.
• Respect EHS rules and any work related processes.
• Will be required to travel to other depots for CR(Change request) application.

Educational Requirements

• Technical education, either mechanical or electrical
• IT literate ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• English fluency

Desired Knowledge / Experience

• Industrial background with 2 to 5 years’ experience preferably in the railway industry or,
• Technical background with 2 to5 years’ experience preferably in the railway industry ideally in an international organization.
• General railway and Product knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems preferable
• Basic Knowledge of electrical wiring/schematic reading.
