KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bookkeeping:

• Books to trial balance on SAGE.
• Overseas payments in banking app.
• Establishments of L/C’s
• SARS
• VAT
• PAYE
• EMP501 recon
• Month End
• Payroll recon
• Profile recon
• Journals
• Recons
• Cash Book 

Additional Functions:

• Weekly wages for <50 employees on VIP Professional.
• Management of the clocking system.
• Ensuring HR Compliance and BBBEE administration.
• Assist in the gathering of information for the EE plan and ATR.
• Assist Head Office HR with personnel matters relating to onboarding, off-boarding, exits, terminations of medical aid and pension funds.
• Assist with the preparation of employment contracts and other related documentation.

COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES

• Matric, with Maths/Accounting.
• Excellent communication skills (written, spoken and electronic).
• Alert and adaptable to change.
• Pay attention to detail and deadline conscious.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and VIP Payroll (essential) and SAGE (highly advantageous).
• Clean credit and criminal history.
• Ownership mentality and a can-do attitude.
