Finance Business Partner - (1138) at Mondi Group

Job Purpose:

• Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position will be offering finance business partnering support to the Power and Recovery operations. The incumbent will be the Finance lead participating in risk identification, value creation and building of a sustainable business model and culture. This role will also support the finance controlling function and other business stakeholders.

Qualification and Expertise:

• BCom Accounting or equivalent Finance related degree
• CIMA Certification will be advantageous
• CA(SA) will be advantageous
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Data Analytics tools (Eg: MS Excel / Python / R / MS Power BI / Tableau / QlikView)
• Valid South African driving license

Job Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years Commercial / Corporate experience as a Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Experience working with data analytics and presentations

Key Performance Areas:

• Drive business performance through assuming key role within the Power and Recovery operations’ team to deliver high quality financial information and commercial insights
• Prepare analysis and reports that enable the business management to effectively challenge costs and inform decision-making(timely)
• Provide the business with relevant financial support to enable effective planning while applying budgeting and forecasting techniques
• Ensure governance and compliance through effective application of financial controls and risk management
• Effective cross functional collaboration and living the Mondi values
