    Client Account Lead - Consumer Goods

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Understand key industry factors impacting consumer goods, client’s business and priorities
    • Co-create with the client, articulate business transformation, and drive an innovation agenda for the client through building relationships with key decision-makers at client organisations
    • Provide industry thought leadership by staying up to date with the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in Consumer Goods sector
    • Represent the Consumer Goods Practice in industry events and forums, and actively participate in the development of the practice's brand and reputation
    • Drive sales, revenue, and profitability, and responsible for account financials/key commercial processes for the account

    Qualifications

    What skills & experience are we looking for?

    • Experience of 5+ years in a senior role working in (or consulting to) the Consumer Goods industry
    • A strong understanding of business strategy, products, processes, and regulations specifically within the Consumer Goods industry
    • Proven track record in sales, negotiation and business development
    • Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior C-suite executives at client organisations
    • Strong industry thought leadership skills, with the ability to develop and articulate perspectives on key industry issues in the defined Consumer Goods sector
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and tailor solutions to meet client needs

    Social Media Art Director

    Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

    • Assist in executing top-quality design from concept to delivery complying with brand standards in execution of social media materials
    • Conceptualise big ideas and copy that ensure social media achieves KPIs for social clients
    • Assist in developing digital storyboards and animation
    • Assist in animating and editing videos
    • Provide support in conceptualising and executing work
    • Work across social platforms and formats
    • Communicate effectively across all levels (both internal and external)
    • Present ideas and concepts articulately and confidently

    Qualifications

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Design
    • Minimum 3 years experience as a Midweight Art Director / Designer in an Creative Agency or similar environment
    • Proficient in Office 365 (i.e. SharePoint/MS Teams etc.)
    • Proficient in Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects etc.
    • Experience using Figma will be advantageous
    • Well versed in Digital (have a good understanding of social media KPI’s)
    • Excellent digital design, graphic and typographic skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Strong multitasking skills (ability to work across multiple platforms at given time)
    • An online portfolio showcasing Always On social (digital) and TTL work

    • Create copy across all channels including print, social media, video, email, banners, website, etc.
    • Conceptualise big ideas and copy that ensure social media achieves KPIs for social clients
    • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
    • See projects through the whole creative process – from concept, copy, design collaboration to production
    • Present social media concepts and calendars to clients on a regular basis
    • Populate content calendars and produce content timeously to calendar timelines
    • Remain fully immersed in social platform trends and changes to ensure content stands out on social media channels
    • Edit and proofread copy to ensure standards are met
    • Drive brand consistency across all communications
    • Use SEO principles to maximize content reach and search rankings

    • Keep abreast of all digital, social media and advertising trends in accordance with industry best practice

    Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualification in Digital Copywriting/Copywriting
    • Proficient in MS Office365 (i.e. Word/Excel/PowerPoint/MS Teams/OneDrive, etc.)
    • Minimum 3 years working experience as a MW Digital / Social Media Copywriter in a creative agency or similar environment (i.e. Radio)
    • Digital (well-versed in Digital and all things social media)
    • Good understanding of social media KPIs
    • A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
    • Vernacular: ability to write in isiXhosa & isiZulu will be advantageous
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief at any given time)
