Finance Business Partner at Robert Walters

The Role

This role is for someone who has strong IFRS knowledge, who is able to manage a team and has good stakeholder engagement abilities. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who wants to join a reputable and well established company in Johannesburg.

As Finance Business Partner, you will be reporting directly into the CFO. You will need to be able to handle large volumes of work, whilst simultaneously managing a team of Management Accountants.

Responsibilities Include:

• Monthly Analysis and Reporting on BU profitability and balance sheets
• Profitability Analysis and Cost Management
• Review Monthly ledgers and sign off on all income statements and balance sheets
• Review Balance Sheet recons
• Review of Management Accounts
• Provide consolidated commentary monthly and annual results
• Provide strategic financial information to support BU decision making
• Forecasting and Budgeting
• Ensure necessary financial risk mitigation steps are in place
• Relationship Management
• Expense Management and Review
• Manage and lead a team of Management Accountants and Cashbook Clerks

Requirements:

• Previous reporting experience
• Insurance knowledge
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• 3 - 5 year's in a leadership role
• Must be a qualified CA(SA)

Desired Skills and Experience

• CA(SA) with min 3 years Post Qualification Experience
• Insurance Industry experience
