    Finance Business Partner

    Description

    Joining a dynamic Finance Department, as a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in enhancing the team's management accounting capabilities and redefining how finance empowers business leaders to manage their profit and loss statements effectively.

    The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for generating precise and timely cost centre reports to improve decision-making, bridging the gap between functions and finance. Furthermore, they will collaborate with the CFO and finance leadership to proactively drive finance transformation, promoting change, growth, and efficiency while strengthening control processes.

    Key qualifications and experience required for the Finance Business Partner:

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject matter
    • Completed CIMA qualification
    • Completed articles (SAIPA/SAICA) - Highly advantageous
    • 3-5 years of global finance, operations and management accounting experience in diverse multi-unit organisations
    • Exceptional technical and management reporting abilities, along with a thorough understanding of commercial aspects
    • Strong financial modelling skills, advanced Excel proficiency, significant experience with financial (ERP) and reporting software, and an in-depth understanding of Chart of Accounts
    • Experience in presenting to senior stakeholders/Board – NB
    • Business partnering experience – NB

    Key duties of the Finance Business Partner:

    • Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts for various regions, products, and cost centres
    • Collaborate with P&L owners to address variances and allocate costs
    • Provide insights to FP&A, identify cost-saving opportunities, and conduct ad-hoc analyses as directed by CFO
    • Assist with budgeting, support P&L owners in day-to-day budget management, and cultivate a business-case mindset
    • Work with budget holders in annual planning and offer financial insights for contract negotiations
    • Foster effective cross-functional and cross-geographical relationships, representing the Head of Finance Business Partnering and serving as a proactive bridge between business operations and finance stakeholders
