Finance Clerk (Cashier) at T&T Academy

PURPOSE

• To handle petty cash, payments, bookkeeping, bursary debt, and admin tasks by verifying, reconciling, capturing, processing, and maintaining accurate financial records efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

• NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) certificate or an equivalent relevant qualification
• Basic accounting and mathematical skills
• Broad experience in financial administration, including salaries, travel and subsistence, debtor and creditor control, and management of clearing/suspense accounts
• Solid knowledge and practical understanding of BAS and Safetyweb systems
• Strong knowledge of banking account structures and configurations within National Departments
• Strong grasp of GRAP standards and theoretical knowledge of GAAP principles
• Computer literacy
