Finance Executive at Malander

Malander is seeking experienced Finance Executives / CFO professionals for various contractual opportunities across a diverse range of industries and high-impact client environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement forward-thinking financial strategies aligned with business goals
• Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling
• Oversee annual budget processes and ensure effective budget control mechanisms
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and corporate governance requirements
• Optimise working capital, cash flow, and overall liquidity management
• Lead relationships with banking partners and other financial institutions
• Identify and manage financial and operational risks proactively
• Drive the implementation of internal control systems and compliance frameworks
• Lead and mentor high-performing finance teams to deliver on key priorities
• Partner cross-functionally with operational teams to align financial goals with business drivers
• Manage external audits and liaise with tax advisors and regulatory bodies
• Drive cost-efficiency and operational effectiveness through financial analysis and optimisation initiatives

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) designation is essential
• Minimum of 6 – 8 years’ relevant experience, including 2 – 3 years at executive or senior management level
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated leadership in an operational finance environment
• Proven track record of strategic financial management and executive-level reporting
