Finance Intern - (Hyundai Meadowdale) at Motus Holdings Limited

Specific Role Responsibilities

• Assisting in analyzing the cost structure of vehicle production, including raw materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Supporting inventory management by helping track parts, finished goods, and supplies used in manufacturing.
• Analyzing production efficiency and cost variances to identify potential savings opportunities.
• Assisting in financial modeling to evaluate vehicle pricing strategies, promotions, or discounts.
• Helping assess the profitability of different vehicle models and trim levels.
• Conducting market research to understand competitive pricing and demand factors.
• Supporting the finance team in tracking sales performance, revenue recognition, and dealer incentives.
• Assisting with revenue forecasts based on sales trends, new model launches, or seasonal changes.
• Helping with the preparation of monthly or quarterly reports on sales revenue, dealer commissions, and financial performance.
• Analyzing and supporting finance programs offered to customers, such as lease options, financing rates, or incentive programs.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports related to financing options and their impact on cash flow and profitability.
• Helping track customer loan and lease payment schedules and reporting on defaults or overdue payments.
• Supporting the accounts payable team by processing payments to suppliers and vendors.
• Assisting in managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely payments for automotive parts, components, or equipment.
• Helping to track and reconcile supplier invoices, contracts, and payments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed tertiary qualification (Degree / Diploma) by a recognized tertiary institution
• Academic Average 60%
• Good computer skills
