    Finance Intern - Sandton

    Are you a recent finance graduate looking to kickstart your career in the exciting field of trade-in settlement? We are seeking a talented & enthusiastic Finance Graduate Intern to join our team and assist in the daily management of our trade-in settlement account. This role is crucial to our Trade-In business, as it plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate reporting on a monthly basis and working towards creating a more efficient process for all lines of services involved.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the daily management of the trade-in settlement account.
    • Work closely with other teams and departments to identify and resolve errors that occur in trade-in transactions.
    • Ensure accurate reporting on a monthly basis, providing control over the trade-in process.
    • Collaborate with various lines of service to develop and implement measures to reduce errors and enhance efficiency.
    • Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
    • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
    • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

    About you:

    • A recent Graduate with a degree in finance or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
    • Familiarity with trade-in processes and settlements is a plus.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.

    Key Competencies Required:

    • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, xlookups, and SUMIFs.
    • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
    • Ability to work well with a team and contribute to a good working dynamic.
    • Integrity and good work ethic.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
