Finance & Key Accounts Administrator at Pillangó Placements

•  This on-site role in Midrand combines finance administration with major retail account order processing. It is ideal for someone who can manage deadlines, spot problems early and keep records audit-ready.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Maintain debtors, creditors, cashbooks and control-account reconciliations.
• Allocate payments, prepare quotes and invoices, and process approved credit notes.
• Resolve account queries, allocation differences and reconciliation exceptions.
• Manage major retailer orders from purchase order through dispatch, invoicing and proof of delivery.
• Check pricing, quantities, trading terms and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, dispatch, finance and sales teams.
• Update retailer portals, order trackers and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and basic sales and order-status reports.
• Escalate overdue balances, discrepancies and approval exceptions promptly.

Requirements

• 2–4 years’ experience in finance administration, bookkeeping, debtors or creditors.
• FMCG, wholesale or retail order-processing experience.
• Knowledge of reconciliations, invoicing, payment allocation and credit notes.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, filters and lookups.
• Experience with accounting software and retailer portals.
• Comfortable working on-site in Midrand.

Education

• Matric required.
• Bookkeeping, accounting or finance qualification advantageous.
