Our client in the manufacturign space is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. This role offers an exciting opportunity to direct and coordinate all financial activities of the business, ensuring sound financial control. You will be responsible for managing the Accounts Department, Human Resources Department, and Warehousing/Shipping Department. What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring sound financial control of the organisation. You will generate management accounts for all departments, evaluate financial reporting systems, assist in budget compilation, and manage the national debtors book. Your role will also involve liaising with external auditors and financial institutions. Additionally, you will manage payroll operations while ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations.
Generate management accounts for all departments and consolidate them
Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures
Assist the Managing Director in the compilation of the company’s overall budget annually
Interface with external auditors at year-end
Manage and control of the national debtors book
Review collection reports to determine the status of collections and outstanding balances
Liaise with financial institutions regarding investments, exchange rates, and forward cover
Manage the Payroll ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager must be a CA (SA), along with a minimum of 5-10 years exerience where you have spent at least 5 years in a Financial Manager position where you've gained strong knowledge of financial reporting systems, accounting procedures, and budgeting processes. Your experience interfacing with external auditors will be beneficial in this role. A proven ability to manage payroll operations while ensuring compliance with legal regulations will give you an edge.
