    Finance Manager

    Position Summary

    • As the Finance Manager for Nespresso, you will act as a proactive change agent and co-pilot for the Business Executive Officer (BEO). Your role will ensure that Finance and Control (F&C) activities are coordinated and streamlined across the organization. You will provide critical insights for business decisions and leverage F&C work processes, systems, and people effectively.

    A Day in the Life of a Finance Manager:

    • Strategy Development: Lead the Market Business Strategy (MBS) process, coordinating the development of strategic decisions made in the Market.
    • Value Creation: Drive value creation within the organization by applying a “big picture approach” to influence and generate relevant insights.
    • Team Development: Coordinate the development of the Finance Team through career and personal development, collaborative working practices, and compensation schemes.
    • Compliance: Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with corporate and legal standards and that the internal control framework is effective.
    • Resource Allocation: Support an efficient resource allocation process through appropriate financial measures, ensuring alignment with MBS.
    • Performance Management: Analyze, interpret, and convert data into clear actions for business leaders, promoting understanding of business drivers through KPIs and comparative benchmarking.
    • Cost Management: Proactively manage costs, including structural costs, driving the allocation of resources and simplifying business complexity.
    • Pricing Strategy: Ensure execution of pricing policy and margins are in line with agreed strategies, reflecting the consumer and customer value proposition.
    • New Initiatives: Drive new business initiatives, promoting understanding of Group initiatives and contributing to strategic modeling for new products and innovations.
    • IS/IT Leadership: Ensure local IS/IT/BI strategy aligns with HQ strategy and lead the team for operational efficiency and high-level service.

    What Will Make You Successful

    • Completed Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
    • CIMA Qualification is advantageous
    • Minimum of 5  years’ experience in management positions, with prior management experience as a Business Controller
    • Solid experience with operating systems supporting end-to-end business processes
    • Experience in managing a network organisation
