• An international agriculture group is seeking a Financial Manager to join their team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be expected to provide financial and management accounting support.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide month end closing (including accounting, forex revaluations, month end journals etc.) and reporting on accounts to stakeholders and varietal entities.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and management of debtors and creditors/ controllers.
• A stable banking environment needs to be kept in place.
• Checking that all payments are made, capturing approved and that transactions are accurate (also reviewing PAYE, SDL and UIF calculations).
• Lead correspondence with external service providers, including external auditors.
• Calculation and submission of tax related matters to SARS.
• Assisting with internal controls between departments.
• Coordinate and assist with the budget processes.
• Perform monthly cash flow forecasts.

Candidate Requirements:

• Eligible/Newly Qualified CA(SA) with 1 - 3 years PQE (preferably in a commercial environment)
• Fully qualified CGMA with 5 years total experience
• Past experience working with full IFRS would be beneficial
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
