Finance Manager at Snatch.work

• The position requires the development and implementation of accounting systems, benchmark policies, and procedures, in addition to providing precise and timely financial information to enable effective decision-making and support the organization's preparation for future plans.

The candidate will report to the Group Financial Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing their work.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly group reporting and accounting processes.
• Build relationships with clients, become a trusted advisor and provide coaching.
• Support implementation of benchmark policies and procedures.
• Assist in digitizing and improving financial systems and processes.
• Aid in preparing for annual group audits, including audit files, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for the group, including balance sheet reconciliations, supporting documents, and movement for the period.
• Manage liabilities and commitments within budget and cashflow requirements, recording, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members on Finance by Design projects.
• Use AccPac/Sage 300 to capture accounting transactions, control the general ledger, perform financial administration, and prepare financial reports.
• Coach and develop the Finance by Design team, fostering growth and continuous improvement.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• CA (SA) with a minimum of 2 years of commercial post-article experience
• Skilled in using MS Office Suite which includes MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, as well as ACCPAC/Sage 300 ERP or similar systems
• Knowledgeable in using an Automated Spend Management system, such as BPM - Business Process Manager or similar
• Possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
