Manage the end-to-end financial function including daily accounting operations and monthly/annual financial reporting.
Prepare, review and present accurate financial statements, performance reports and variance analyses
Ensure timely reconciliations Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in consultation with department heads Monitor budget implementation and provide variance analysis to management.
Oversee procurement processes for goods and services and ensure compliance with internal and statutory supply chain management policies Review purchase requisitions, ensure competitive sourcing and proper authorisation.
Oversee monthly payroll processing and reconcile payroll accounts Manage claims and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and legislation Coordinate and manage audit processes Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards and relevant legislation
Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to the finance team Review and deployment of policies for both procurement and finance Development of the financial control’s tools Prepare the annual and quarterly budgets Monitoring of short and long term contracts
Advisory on the financial plans Assisting on new developments of funding proposals and sponsorships
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional qualification desirable
Minimum of 5-8 years’ relevant experience in financial management Proven experience in budget management, payroll, procurement, audit coordination and financial reporting
Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance frameworks and public finance management principles Strategic thinking and leadership Strong governance and risk orientation
High ethical standards and integrity Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
