Responsibilities:
Reports to CEO
• Cash books
• Supplier files
• Income statements – full
• Depreciation workings
• Maintaining asset registers
• Books up to and including balance sheets
• Managing cash flow in businesses
• Payroll
• Recon of bank statements daily
• Reporting on financial side of business to CEO
• Management of bad debt
• Controlling of CGI cover on contracts
• Approving submission of contract claims
• Recon of project statements with department administrator and project managers
• Compiling of cash flow reports
• Bank communication
• Loading payments to be signed off and released by others
• Creating budgets for approval on all businesses and divisions
• Monitoring and reporting on budgets on monthly and annual basis
• Must have Pastel knowledge and experience
• Must meet difficult deadlines and have a sense of urgency
• Must have attention to detail
• Review of stock control sent by Warehouse Manager
• Control and management of loan accounts and tool accounts
• EMP01 submissions
• Manage and run statutory requirements for business
• Review of Pension funds on an annual basis
• UIF and workman’s compensation submissions
• Review of petrol accounts on a monthly basis
• Management of petrol cards
• Submission of our books to auditors
• Liaison with auditors
• Review of annual financials
