Job Description

• A leading FMCG manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, driving financial controls, and supporting business performance through effective financial management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the full finance function, including accounting, reporting, and financial controls.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and financial planning processes.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure operational efficiency.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
• Monitor costs, identify efficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or similar) advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior finance role.
• Proven experience managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
