    Finance & Reporting Analyst

    Job Purpose

    • The primary focus of this position is to ensure qualitative and effective business reporting. (CATR)
    • The specific emphasis of this role is the analysis of both Production and Non-Production Hours, their allocations to the projects and their total recovery. (DLR & Hours Management)
    • The incumbent in this role is responsible for Fixed Asset Book, this includes booking transactions and CAPEX management (Budget, Forecast & Reporting)                   
    • The Finance and Reporting Analyst should use their acumen to assist with resolving intercompany queries, internal & external audit queries as well as adhering to internal controls.

    Performance Measurement:

    • ALISTA Management
    • Timely and Accurate Reporting (CATR)
    • Timely and Accurate Reporting (Asset & CAPEX)

    Responsibilities

    • Accurate Month-end reporting in accordance to set deadlines, this includes CATR, CAPEX, Working Capital and Cash Flows Reports.
    • Submission of Cash Forecasts and Budgets in consultation with Treasury.
    • Provide Working Capital analysis as an input into the Reporting Pack
    • Report and Provide Analysis on CAPEX vs. Budget
    • Monthly Reforecasting of CAPEX
    • Submission of monthly recons (Trade Receivables, Accruals etc.) for the GIBELA Balance Sheet Reviews (CAPEX related)
    • Contribute to Gibela Finance Dashboard by creating and tracking KPIs relevant to Working Capital and CAPEX
    • Monthly closure of the ALISTA system in accordance with the monthly calendar.
    • Follow Up on ALISTA gaps, ensuring that a “zero gap status” is achieved
    • Align employee data across ALISTA, SAGE, GSI, ALPS and CONCUR.
    • Distribute the weekly ALISTA Status report
    • Support Finance Team (Shared Services and Project controlling)
    • Ensure that the data is well recorded in GSI and that the standard processes are well applied: quality of information, costs mapping, partnering on GSI
    • Ensure that CATR is published on Workday 3 and that all gaps are cleared.
    • Become an authority in relation to Systems (GSI, FIORI, ALISTA etc.)
    • Resolve queries and requests timeously
    • Train and assist as may be required
    • Help with internal and External audits
    • Process Journals as may be requested.
    • ADHOC activities

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum education required
    • B.Com or an equivalent qualification

    Minimum experience required

    • 2 years’ experience in a similar industry.
    • Computer literate – working knowledge SAP and Excel
    • Understanding Teranga & ALISTA would be advantageous
    • Clear understanding of the Accounting Reporting Framework
    • Ability to work under pressure and effectively as part of a diverse team.
    • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, both verbally and in writing.
    • Good Problem solving and people skills.
