Financial Accountant at Communicate Recruitment

• As a Financial Accountant, you will oversee and maintain the company's records, with a primary focus on Fixed Assets, Insurance, and Inventory. Your responsibilities will include assisting with monthly Management Reporting, handling all VAT-related tasks for the Group, and providing support to the Finance Manager, Creditors Clerk, and other Accountants. You will also be involved in reconciliations for card statements, reviewing Profit and Loss and ensure all transactions were allocated to the correct GL and Business unit. You will also play a key role in audits and various accounting functions.

Responsibilities include:

• Bank Management
• Fixed Assets and Stock
• Fleet Cards and Credit Card
• Month-end reporting
• Commission calculations and payouts
• Communication with teams on their recharges, expenses and sales
• VAT for the Group

What you will need:

• Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting
• A BCom Accounting Degree or a related qualification
• At least 2 years of experience in an Accounting role or a similar position
• 2 years of experience using a reputable accounting software, preferably an ERP system
