    Financial Analyst

    Job Role:

    Build, monitor and track financial and operational metrics per channel to ultimately support and maximise products and services commercial viability and growth. Enhancing operational processes and margin management across all products, per channels. Support the targeted growth and penetration plans per product and channel. Build and assist with business and commercial models. Become the custodian of all daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Graduate with a commerce degree (CIMA, CA or CMA will be a prerequisite)
    • Management Accounting, Financial or Commercial experience will be an advantage

    Skills:

    • Proficient in finance
    • Strong analytical skill
    • Excellent excel and business modelling skill
    • Good understanding of informal and retail industries
    • People and leadership experience
    • Innovative, research and commercial viability mindset
    • Unwaveringly principled and ethical
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data and information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executives and technical/non-technical leaders

    Attributes:

    • Finance/Analytical background an advantage
    • Great attention to detail, with ability to bring things together holistically
    • Very proactive, thorough, detailed, decisive and flexible
    • That you are proficient in strategic, long-term, analytical, and critical thinking
    • Very strong EQ, thoughtful and commercial business acumen
    • The ability to work within teams and manage those relationship
    • Ability to manage yourself and your outputs and take full accountability

    Responsibilities:

    • Build, monitor and track daily, weekly and monthly financial and operational metrics per channel
    • Ultimately support and maximize products and service’s commercial viability and growth per channel
    • Asist in enhancing operational processes and margin management across all products and channels
    • Support the targeted growth and penetration plans per product and channel
    • Build and assist with business and commercial models for current and new projects
    • Assist and work across the Group Product Manager to design and build highly effective and commercially viable product strategies and roadmaps
    • Supporting Group Product management and all divisional General managers with insights and guidance around product performance and required focus with regards to growth
    • Conduct data analysis to drive decision making and identify key challenges and opportunities
