Financial Manager (Business Intelligence and Process Analyst)
You’ll be a vital player in shared services division that facilities the finance function for a number of companies/business units in the food industry.

You’ll prepare and distribute financial management reports, including monthly management packs/TB’s, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
You’ll implement Power BI reporting to analyse financial data, consolidations and provide insights to management.
You’ll collaborate to design and implement internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practises to mitigate financial risks.
You’ll also be the custodian of financial system platforms and ERP systems which include D365, Syspro (to be phased out and moved to Xero), Micros, idealPOS.
You’ll participate in cross-functional projects such as process improvements, system implementations and Power BI Reporting.
Liaising with internal and external auditors for system processes, walk-throughs and controls effectiveness testing will be part of your role too.
What you’ll need
We’re looking for a CA (SA) with 5 years post articles commercial experience with a strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles and financial reporting.
You’ll need to be systems/tech savvy – you’ll be working on Microsoft Dynamics. Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualisation tools like Vena and Power BI is essential to create insightful reports and dashboards.
You’ll have excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends and anomalies.
Your Excel skills need to be advanced for data manipulation, modelling and analysis.
You’ll have knowledge of internal control frameworks and experience in implementing and monitoring controls.
You’re experienced with ERP systems such as Syspro, D364, Xero and so on.
Attention to detail is your thing and you thrive in managing multiple tasks and deadlines and you’re a great team player.
Your project management and troubleshooting skills are advanced and you’re naturally organised and work well in a fast paced environment.
