    Management Accountant - Hotel (Cape Town)

    Responsibilities:

    • Analysis and reporting (including managing VAT requirements)
    • Management of financial expenditure
    • Be responsible for co-ordination of audits
    • Prepare and maintain administration of creditors payments
    • Responsible for stakeholder liaison and service delivery and special projects
    • Be responsible for self-management and performance ownership

    Requirements:

    • CIMA qualified or BCom degree financial qualification
    • At least 3 years’ experience in similar role
    • Knowledge and experience of financial analysis and interpretation skill
    • Understand relevant legislation (Tax, VAT)

    Operational Accountant - Cape Town

    Responsibilities:

    • Treasury – ensuring sufficient cash is available to meet operational needs
    • Cashflow forecasting
    • Oversee Monthly Payroll Journal and process payments
    • Monitor, reconciliation and confirmation of Inter-company loan accounts

    Junior Bookkeeper - Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

    Requirements:

    • Prepare the pay run for the group entities
    • Account for the expense splits of events
    • Maintain all trackers and action changes
    • Be responsible for all banking admin and allocation

    Post-Trade Specialist - City of Cape Town

    Responsibilities:

    • Action and monitor confirmation and settlement of all trades
    • Ensure brokers and custodians receive the required information

    Investment Accountant - City of Cape Town

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform day-to-day operational processes for various investment accounting, data management and market data activities
    • Work closely with the operational departments (NAV Pricing, Performance, Portfolio Administration) as well as Tax, Institutional Client Services, Legal & Compliance, IT, and Trading
    • Liaising with data vendors (e.g. JSE/Bloomberg) on data quality and other queries 
    • Monitoring communications from data vendor regarding changes that may affect fund pricing process and inform business teams where necessary (e.g. Corporate Actions, Trading, Fund Accounting)
    • Assisting with month-end pricing across all portfolios
    • Monitoring and answering queries from the Institutional Data Management and Investment Accounting email queue
    • Involvement in initiatives/project work that seeks to simplify and create efficiencies in existing processes
    • Calculating daily interest accruals
    • Assist with month-end pricing for portfolios
    • Maintain benchmark static data
    • Reconciling static data ensuring accuracy
    • Daily monitoring of instrument classifications for reporting

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of either a newly qualified CA(SA) or an accounting or finance tertiary qualification with honours being preffered
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience within a similar role or financial services articles 
    • Must have a strong technical understanding of instrument valuation and pricing
    • Experience in working with these systems would be advantageous: Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), IHS Markit, Fundamental Portfolio Manager (FPM)
    • Self-starting and proactive

    Accounts Payable - Cape Town Southern Suburbs

    Responsibilities:

    • Full function of Accounts Payable (except stock)
    • Issuing of Purchase Orders / Signing off on supplier orders
    • Issuing notices of service cancellations to suppliers where required
    • Attending monthly / quarterly supplier engagement meetings to represent finance
    • Verifying completeness and accuracy of supplier billing
    • Identifying, logging and managing disputes of suppliers to prompt resolution
    • Obtaining internal approvals on supplier invoices where necessary
    • CPT stock backup - issuing and receiving stock (physically & recording system transactions)
    • Customer to Supplier completeness (monthly check) - new services, existing services, terminated services
    • Ensure timeous capturing of approved supplier invoices to ensure supplier payments are timeous
    • Ensure VAT compliance on all supplier invoices capturing 

    Requirements

    • Relevant financial qualification
    • 5 years experience
    • Sage experience
