Operational Accountant - Cape Town at CA Financial Appointments

Responsibilities:

• Treasury – ensuring sufficient cash is available to meet operational needs
• Cashflow forecasting
• Oversee Monthly Payroll Journal and process payments
• Monitor, reconciliation and confirmation of Inter-company loan accounts
• Oversee the completion of relevant balance sheet recons (Debtors’ Book, Bank Reconciliations, Suspense Accounts)
• Systems Administration - Responsible for allocation and mapping of all new transactions
• Be the Main Pastel Administrator – responsible for maintaining the chart of accounts, setting up of new users and the year-end roll-over process
• Lead and guide a small team

Requirements:

• Accounting or Finance degree
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Computer experience: Pastel
• Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong planning, organizing, scheduling, and objective setting
