Financial Manager - Durban at CA Financial Appointments

Responsibilities:

• Financial budgeting and forecasting
• Financial record-keeping and management
• Financial reporting
• Financial and business decision making
• Auditing and financial governance
• Cash and cash flow management
• Adherence to the financial policies of the Party
• General financial oversight
• Managing and directing of finance staff

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Degree in Accounting or equivalent 
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a financial environment with at least three at management level
• Systematic, comprehensive, and displaying excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work with large amounts of information in a systematic fashion under tight deadlines
• Ability to work fast, accurately, and creatively under tight timelines
• Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• A commitment to the principles, policies, and programme of action of the DA
• The preferred candidate must be completely outcomes orientated and not simply task orientated
• Excellent organisational abilities
• An ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
• Willing to work long and irregular hours
• Applicants MUST be in possession of a valid driver’s license and have access to an insured vehicle for occasional use
