•  Our client, a highly successful and established operator in the aviation industry, is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team in Lanseria, Johannesburg. 
• The Financial Manager will play a critical role in aligning the finance function with group-level processes and accounting policies. This is a transformation-focused role that requires not only solid accounting expertise but also the ability to manage change effectively within a long-standing team.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
• Align accounting practices and policies to group standards.
• Drive change management within the finance function to modernise processes and improve efficiency.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports.
• Present financial results and insights at board meetings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax legislation, and company policies.
• Maintain effective internal controls and support the broader business in financial decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with group finance to ensure consistent reporting and governance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
• Completed articles with a non-CA qualification preferred 
• 5–10 years of relevant commercial finance experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to adapt processes and policies
• Demonstrated ability to drive and manage organisational change
