Job Description

The Financial Manager of VKB Retail will be responsible for the overall management of the division's financial function, projects, budgets as well as the operational aspects of VKB Retail, Limpopo.

Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF4
• Relevant BCom/ BAcc Degree will serve as recommendation
• At least 3-years experience in the general management of a financial function of a team
• Applicable experience in the Agri-retail environment will serve as recommendation 
• Proficient in the MS Office package with the ability to work with Excel on an advanced level
• Knowledge of Microsoft Navision/Business Central will serve as recommendation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Overall management of the administrative function of the division
• Monthly reports to management
• Compilation of AFS in accordance with IFRS
• Submission of tax returns 
• Management of cash flow to ensure sufficient funds to pay creditors
• Checking of reconciliations to ensure accuracy and correctness
• Approval of journals, salaries and payments (ad-hoc, Creditors and Projects)
• Project cost analysis and reconciliation
• Overall process management 
• Negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers
• Overall HR Management of personnel component
• Schedule and manage stock takes
• Central contact point for internal departments with any financial queries
• Overall management of budget of division
• Design and implement uniform controls and procedures
• Design and implement systems
• Overall risk management within the group
