Financial Retail Controller at Volvo Group

Job Objectives:

• Drive and manage understanding of the full Retail Network in Closing and Estimate activities.
• Implement a new way of working that aligns with our future Financial goals and the exciting future of Electromobility.
• To drive and secure Volvo Group way of working within Business Control. This also entails to clean out any other tasks not Business Control related.
• You are experienced in indirect leadership which will drive success in implementation of new activities in line with Volvo Group Values.
• Actively propose and drive the support of improvements of all controlling related revenue and expense reporting, ensuring proactive control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of results, analysis and forecasts.
• This role requires knowledge of SAP general ledger accounting, however, follow up is done in pre-systems GDS Fusion, SAP, Essbase and planning tool Hyperion.
• Be a business partner and contribute to continous improvement.
• Provide financial information to stakeholders according to set deadlines.
• Liase with other Finance colleagues for decision making, analysis, reporting and consolidation.
• This role requires travel to the dealers in the network in South Africa.
• No direct staff reporting, but collaboration with the 12 dealers for their explanations and input is required.
• Change management and structural implementations to align with Volvo Group of reporting financials.
