Fixed Asset Accountant | Meridian Services | Brackenfell at Managed People Solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all company fixed assets on the system. Asset verification bi-annually for the group.
• Monthly review of the company insurance policies ensuring accurate allocation and all assets included Prepare for payment.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in respect and clearing accounts.
• Top 15 depreciation feedback.
• Preparation of FAR disclosure to reconcile with financial statements.
• Managing of communication on purchasing of company vehicles and Chairperson of the fleet committee.
• Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.
• Plan, prioritize, and demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands.
• Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change.
• Demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organizational needs.

Skill and Qualifications

• Grade 12.
• Minimum qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Accounting.
• Minimum experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing and accounting for Fixed Assets for a group of companies.
