Flexitank General Worker at DHL

Job Purpose:

• Support in manufacturing of Flexitanks. Produce each article of the right quality, material handling, ground activities including movement, storage and packaging of materials. Adhere corporate guidelines and policies.

In this  Flexitank General Worker position

• Achieve hourly targets
• Report all material defects to QCS and Senior Supervisor
• Ensure that each product manufactured are of correct quality
• Complete cutting and roll sheets in department
• Ensure that any foreign objects that may enter the production floor are reported.
• Ensure housekeeping is conducted in his department
• To verify tank number according to job sheet
• Conduct visual inspections for material quality, correct numbers and alignment
• Ensuring to report malfunction machinery to station or maintenance supervisor
• Ensuring product are manufactured in excellence
• Ensure that I report any hazard from a health safety perspective
• To report to superior on all issue related to repair works
• To update job sheet with respect to individual job done
• Comply with procedures of ISO9001, FSSC22000, OSHAS 18001 and ISO14001
• To take all necessary action to achieve company’s objective
• Ensuring tanks are cut/trimmed as per quality specification
• Competent in the following processes cutting, wedge welding, gland welding, sleeving, and folding
