Desired experience and qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification in Production will be beneficial
• Min 3 years in FMCG manufacturing environment
• 2 years management experience in FMCG
• Firm knowledge and understanding of the following legislation & systems:
• Legal compliance
• OSHAct
• Basic Employment act
• ISO standards
• Good Manufacturing Practices

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Allocate production and update schedules to incorporate order / product code changes
• Receive new orders
• Ensure adequate raw material levels in proportioning bins
• Ensure adequate final stock levels in out-loading bins
• Participate in schedule planned maintenance
• Check & ensure that pellet and quality meets specifications
• Manage raw material and final line / system flushing
• Supervise line checks
• Continuously monitor plant and equipment parameters
• Implement & control safety standards
• Maintain all critical control points
• Effective utilization of all Management Information Systems
• Daily, weekly, monthly monitoring & control of overall equipment efficiency
• Implement initiative to address deviations
• Ensure accurate completion of shift production Key performance indicators
• Adequately report machine & equipment failures to maintenance department
