Grade 10 or equivalent. Relevant exposure in hygiene, safety and cooking will be an added advantage. Basic Food and Hygiene knowledge and issues relating to food Service.

Duties :
Prepare and dish up food for normal and therapeutic diets. This includes all the operational working of the Food Service Unit equipment. Washing all crockery and cutlery used in the Food Service Unit daily.
Wash all pots and pans and equipment used in the unit daily. Maintain cleanliness of workstation as prescribed and assigned to ensure all hygiene and safety standards. Unpacking and packing of provisions into fridges and freezers.
Cleaning of fridges, freezers and storage areas. Be prepared to work in any area in the unit on a rotation basis or as required. Participate in all production processes. Adhere to human resources regulations and the code of ethics in the public Services. Correlate all duties to give nutritional care to all clients. administrative duties.
