    Food Service Assistant

    Description

    • Assisting the Chefs with the cooking and preparation of general and special diet meals for patients, doctors and staff
    • Assisting with dishing up and presentation of meals
    • General Housekeeping duties in the kitchen
    • Training and coaching of subordinates
    • Keep preparation area clean and tidy at all times

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Previous experience as a Food Services Assistant
    • Availability to work extra hours
    • Honesty and integrity
    • Ability to utilise Kitchen machines / instruments (e.g. scales)
