PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Great customer service:
• Attendant to be ready and well presented.
• Attendant to direct customer to an available filling position/position in queue.
• Attendant to ensure safety.
• Attendant to make an additional product offer/promotion.
• Ensure that all petrol, oil, radiator, water container etc, caps and/or dipsticks are replaced once service is completed.
• Handle and deal with customer queries as and when they arise.
• Possess knowledge and understanding of the product.
• Provide informed advice to customers attendant to handle payment correctly and efficiently.
• Perform filling station duties:
• Ensure vigilant safeguarding of all company property, assets and stock at all times.
• Ensure that forecourt, store area and perimeter is clean & litter free at all times by following management instructions and cleaning procedures diligently.
• Always follow lubricants issuing & control procedures with cashiers.
• Ensure that all sand buckets, cans and stands are full and ready for use at all times.
• Coordinate traffic on forecourt.
• Ensure that pump and dip readings are done accurately at times.
• Ensure that hawkers are always kept off the premises.
• Ensure tanks are tested with water finding paste daily.
• Stock Control
• Assist with taking deliveries.
• Maintenance of fire extinguishers.
• Perform sales:
• Offer sales service to customers.
• Operate speed point system.
• Process payments.
• Following all policies and procedures relating to methods of payment.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate.
• Candidates with relevant experience will receive preference.
