Forklift Driver at Cape Herb & Spice

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Conduct daily safety inspections and documentation on forklift.
• Safely operate the forklift.
• Report any safety, maintenance or damage concerns to your supervisor.
• Assist with picking activities as and when required.
• Assist with stock takes when needed.

Requirements:

• Matric qualification or equivalent.
• Valid Forklift license with at least 1 year forklift driving experience.
• Able to understand and read job cards/ filling sheets effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25 kg)

Personal characteristics:

• Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
• Good housekeeping skills.
• Willing and able to work shifts and overtime, as and when required.
